Don’t rock the boat sweetheart

Don't_Rock_The_Coney_Boat_BabyThe work order from Jaipur is under discussion. Looks like it is on its way to closure. And that would be awesome. For the team, for us as a company and for our finances.

For the project we need to order satellite images from NRSA and there is a lot of paperwork involved. Authorization from government bodies and various other grants and permissions. Kya zaroorat hai? I mean satellite imagery is available worldwide without any rules and regulations. Why should India be any different? And then there is only one body through which one can procure these images: NRSA. The entire power thus rests with one body. What is the logic in that? Every requirement has to be routed through NRSA.
But the name of the game is ‘survival’. So ‘sawal’ mat puchho. Don’t ask anything. Just survive. Kaise bhi. After all that is more important. Why get into dangerous territory (unless you are backed by a powerful politician and or a huge amount of money, earned or unearned).

Ignore the realities. keep quiet. Just do what you need to do or are asked to do or what is necessary to do for the daily bread and butter.

Well, I do have questions. A lot of them. One of them also being how a private sector entity could work with a public sector company without any time schedule or payment schedule. And without any clear specifications (most of the time).

Stay a slave. Stay safe. Don’t rock the boat. Of course, the option of jumping off the boat is always there ( like me and my daughter have done) but God help you then. Do anything but don’t criticize the system. the way the government works, the school system, the family system, the marriage system.

The system is onmipresent, omnipotent.

Bow to it. Accept it. And some awards or accolades might just come your way.
Else you will be ostracized, left alone and looked down upon.

You will be a threat and so you will be threatened at every step.

Dare to bare?
