I got a call today from a ‘women in business’ leadership forum. I was very amused as the guy kept trying to give me the various reasons as to why I should be a delegate in a two day event being organized by them. And the reasons ranged from the list of who’s who invitees to the presence of Sonia Gandhi to the networking sessions and the most absurd reason provided was the five star food (gourmet!). I really felt like laughing my head off (after a long time). I mean how can one invest two days for a few meals in a five star hotel?
And this entire ‘women in business’ stuff is half baked nonsense. ‘Much ado about nothing’.
Today was spent in doing some mundane jobs, filing of papers, filing of unpaid bills (of course, how can one forget that), sending a few mails ( our server is working today and thank god for that). I have been thinking of how to complete the Jaunpur and Barabanki projects. Also waiting for the Jaipur results to come in. A day of waiting so to say. ‘When the time is right’, it will happen. All the pieces of the puzzle will fit in together. At the right moment.
I have been wondering today how love, money and relationships are all entwined with each other. I mean if there is money, love grows very fast and the relationship has a smooth sailing. This is true in work relationships, in marriages, live-ins or just any couple. I mean money is a driving force, a controlling force and generates the right responses or feelings. It is also a cover-up. if you are creating money, a lot of the other not so good traits and actions are pardonable. Acceptable. At least you are earning well. However.
I guess it is also true between two countries. The relationship is smooth or turbulent based on the economics of the two countries.
So ‘love’ is truly an overrated feeling today. It is a very good emotion to boost the sales of any service or any product but the ground reality is : ‘that it is just not enough’. I think very soon we will have advertisements saying: ‘walk in here for a meal, or buy this service or product’, because it will make you feel loved!
So much for love.
Ma’am though i don’t know much about life,love,money and different types of relationship whether its corporate relation or any other general one as i am not experienced enough for all this,but i have a perfect exhortation for you after reading your this particular post, i agree to the fact without renunciation that money can make relationships but it surely cannot be the best of relationship anyone has, for the relationship to continue it requires time to time renewal as does your credit card does every year, this renewal is nothing just the pouring of so called love into the relation,as you surely do every year in your child birthday by giving him surprises,and also surely on your company’s anniversary you receive love from your employees.I am sure that any of your old employee who has true faith in you will not just leave your company because some other organization would be giving him few bugs more,moreover i am not commenting on your thought being against them,these are nowadays situations but love will forever lie until we are alive, love has its own place but virtually at times it may seem to be extinct.Have a nice day!!!!!!
