We are trying to negotiate for an increase in cost for the Jaunpur and Barabanki projects (its quite a pain in the ass) with the client and the interface, M/s Uptron. Uptron is truly acting as a commission agent. They do not wish to assist in the work, they do not wish to invest in the project, they just want their cut. cool. It is all about cuts.
Another unfinished survey project for GDA with an interface of RAMKY. Now Ramky is supposed to be a multicrore group. And yet they will not invest a single penny out of their own pocket for the execution of the project. Awesome. So we are trying to show the picture to them ( have to make it more dramatic I guess like a TV hindi serial). And then ask(beg?) for the mobilization advance to begin and complete the work.
So, mostly I guess we are asking (begging) for money, payments rather than focussing at the work in hand and that is very unfortunate. Our good work and services should be the driving force and not vice versa. But then ‘should’ is a very controversial(is the spelling correct?). There are so many ‘shoulds’ in our life. If we covert it to ‘coulds’, that itself would be a great acheivement.
I am mostly spaced out (in the third world). I am a citizen of some unknown third world and am absent from the day to day life on this earth. It is with great difficulty that my daughter calls me back umpteen times in a conversation. And when I come back, I remember nothing. In which third world ? No idea.
I guess we are both a cut above (or below) the rest (not normal normal) without the cuts.
