Leaving for Ajmer tommorrow morning. It will be a break which has been long overdue. A lot of loose ends needed to be tied up in the office today. I guess there will always be work left undone but I hope I have managed to do the essentials, urgent mails, arrangement of milk,water,ac maintenance,working of the net and countless other unimportant jobs which become very important if left undone.
Keeping two systems running ( house and the office) is becoming very tiring. More than the actual work, it is the smaller issues which are so time and energy consuming. I can understand today, why some people prefer to take ready made operational office space.
The CC TV has been installed and hopefully, there will be more manageability and transparency in the office. It kind of becomes a public space with a third eye watching. It is just so sad that we need a third eye for team members to behave and show respect to the office. If no one is watching, the character displayed is abominable.
So that is that. A lot of dues are still pending. I am learning to live with them and take it one day at a time. As long as I am on the battle front, there is no need to despair.
I do wish sometimes that my family was there to support me. I do wish that it was not so hard.
But so far so good. I am hanging in there.
