All is quiet on the western front.
It has been a quiet day except for the noise of construction coming from the foor just above us. The landlord is constructing another floor to lease out to a bank just above us. In the process, the roof of the bathroom got broken and the girl who has recently joined was upset. We called the landlord and then some plastic planks were put on top to make it usable. So there was mayhem but this level of turmoil is in the normal range for us. I mean if the cops come, there is something to worry about. The rest is daily stuff. We are a tough company and only tough people last here (of course that is why nobody lasts for very long !)
The work for Rajasthan is in progress, at a snails’ pace. But nevertheless, its moving. And Jagannath is very strongly suggesting that we change the office space. There is something not quite right about being here. There is a slum area right outside, there are no food joints and a host of other issues. I am very scared of any change and specially this one, of changing base (whether office or house). But I am glad that the momentum is building up for a change and I am sure the funds will also materialize to execute the change. Just faith.
And faith is all we have.
