Choices and consequences

We have been able to submit the data for four towns in Rajasthan (Amazing). This, despite and inspite of the constant noise over our heads, the recurrent power failures, the exit of Jagannath and last but not the least, the lack of our plotter (which is sitting in the service center). Of course yesterday was hectic. One system was mis-behaving and we were not being able to write a DVD. And since all the documentation was in the laptop (which is gone), we had to prepare the format for an invoice from scratch. So after a flurry of activities and having lost my cool, we finally shipped the data at 9:00pm in the night.

All the team members have an issue with Veena who is constantly on the mobile and has an attitude of,’ I am better than thou’, which is very irritating. Also she is more theoretical than practical and is not being able to meet her targets. So she is not being able to be a part of the team. So that is something to chew about.

And the cost of setting up this company is being borne by my daughter. She says she wants her mom back. I think that is a huge statement. She thinks she has lost me and I know that I have lost myself.

I am a zombie in more ways than one and it must be difficult for her to live with me.

And her question is: why did I choose this way of life.

And I have no answer.
