A lot of reading and understanding is required for the ‘real estate’ project under discussion. I sat with the guidelines and other material in the morning and went through it once. It all went over my head. Then I tried to read slowly like I used to when I was doing graduation, use markers, pencils, make notes. Still haven’t got a clue as to the what the stringent requirements vis a vis heights are. So, I have contacted an ex-Air Force pilot (who is also an AA member) to explain the flight control terminology to me. We have only two days to understand everything technically and submit the proposal. From Urban planning to Road management to Disaster management and now Aviation. We are covering a lot of areas (of course without making any money) and that’s good.
Finally I got around to getting the ‘atta’ and the week will start off with ‘atta’ in the house. The gas has also been booked. And there is water in the house. Too good to be true. Today was ‘Friendship day’ and I got a few messages. Of couse I can count them on my fingers. The list of people who hate me would be endless!
Imtiaz worked in the office today to finish a sample map for submission in the early part of next week. Imtiaz has always been good at execution of a project. Whatever it takes. He is good for a ‘marathon run’ and all projects are mostly that. They are not 100m sprints. I am glad he is a part of our team again.
I guess what I have been through has been an irreversible process. If carbon is put under high pressure, it becomes something else entirely and then the process cannot be reversed. I am experiencing something like that. Who I am, who I have become, who I am being cannot be reversed now. For better or for worse.
