A lot is happening in a non-happening way. At last, the wavelengths of the team members have begun to match. The environment has energy. Ashok is trying to delve deeper into the guidlelines. The maps for the online shop have started gaining momentum and we have a small site in Chennai to work with.
Silakari wants to wriggle out of the balance payment he needs to make to us or there is some vicarious pleasure he is gaining by putting down our work, even if we are willing to do the necessary editing. It is just creating a lose-lose situation for all concerned. But what can be done. We cannot change anyone. So this project is hanging in mid air (is there such a word?).
The rent of the house for this month is gone (Thank God). The salaries in the office are of course due and the bills are streaming in like there is no tommorrow. Deep breath. It is fine. It will be fine. There is no need to panic.
Another day is over with no crisis situation. The team came and worked. Lunch was served. The AC’s worked. The plants are still alive and there is petrol in the car. Cool.
There is loneliness for Appu and me. Nothing to be done about that. That is the path chosen. Appu has re-started her dance classes and will begin preparing for a workshop to be held next month. I think dancing comes naturally to her. Her Dell machine is still not working. Wondering why the Dell guys take so long to respond.
It is quiet in the office. Hope it is not the stillness before the storm. The space is peaceful. It is rented but what the hell, even our lives are rented in a strange way. We cannot live forever.
Sab theek hai. I need to remind myself of this many times over in the day.
Pack up time.
